Dr. Salemvisit to Ireland witnessed signing a protocol of
cooperation between ITI and DUBLIN Institute of Technology;
the two parties agreed on establishing a centre of IT
excellence in Egypt to design and implement IT training
programs in addition of providing technical support to
scientific research projects. Another protocol was signed
between ITI and Education Media Publishing Group (EMPG) to

H. E. Dr. Tarek Kamel, Minister of
Communications and Information Technology, visits ITI Assuit branch on
Wednesday, 21th of January 2009 to witness the official opening of the
branch. ITI Assuit would be the fifth branch so far and its opening came
according to the MCIT strategy to graduate technically talented students
whom would be able to contribute to the development of communications
and information technology industry.
